Hello,
I love the verbosa theme. But can you please tell me how to remove the sidebar from the front page which I have as a static page? Thanks!

ok. figured out how to do that one. I didn’t realize I could do it in the widget itself with “visibility.”
The sidebar is still visible on your homepage (and it cannot be removed in Verbosa) so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
If you’ve actually hid individual widgets (from within the sidebar), that functionality is not available in WordPress so it’s most likely provided by a plugin (Jetpack?)

Which leads me to another question. Can I turn on sidebars for Category pages? I would probably have to add some kind of code, because I can’t do it under “Categories” in the dashboard.

Categories will follow the general layout configured in the theme (categories can have neither templates nor meta options associated with theme for the theme to use).
