Hi!
I’m so glad I found Verbosa. Great theme! However, I have some questions regarding things I can’t figure out.
50% of my traffic comes from mobile devices, so I would like to find a solution for at least the first question below. I use WordPress 4.8.2.
Q1. I’ve used the Landing Page-feature and it looks great in laptop view. When I switch to mobile, the image (and site title) is not acting in a responsive way. The image – and site title – are cropped.
Here are my settings that I can think of, that might affect this:
Landing Page > Settings > Landing Page: Enabled
Landing Page > Slider: Static Image
Landing Page > Slider Image: Uploaded an image with the size 1046 x 594 (also tried other sizes, same result)
Landing Page > Text Area 1-3: Disabled
Other settings
Header > Header Image Height: 594 (even though I don’t use header)
Post Information > Featured Image > Featured Image Height: 594
Post Information > Featured Image > Featured Image responsiveness: ResponsiveI attach links to screenshots to show what it looks like. I need to change to another theme, and visitning the site won’t show my problem.
Picture of laptop version: http://vaja.se/laptop/
Picture of mobile version: http://vaja.se/mobile/Q2. In Landing Page Settings, the second option “Featured Content” I have chosen: Posts.
The next setting “More Posts Label”, is that supposed to show a button somewhere? It doesn’t show.Q3. When the mobile version of the page is rendered the sidebar widgets are presented before the content (odd solution, I think) if I use the Sidebar After Menu #1.
If I use the #2 they don’t show up at all. (Also odd solution.)
So, the only way to get the widgets I have in the sidebar to show up in mobile version and yet to NOT show up before the content is to either have them repeated (or only) in the footer? What am I missing here?If anyone has a suggestion how to solve these/explain what I’m doing wrong, I would be most grateful.
/Cecilia
