Text Widget saving incorrectly…

    I’ve been including onmouseoout/over img commands in the text widget which Verbosa initially saves and responds to in the theme — but upon reloading the widget (in dashboard or customizer) the commands vanish. The text widget appears to save simple commands such as img src and ahref, and defaults back to these (minus the onmouseout/over commands) when reloading the page.

    Not entirely sure if it’s a bug or a setting I’m unaware of.

    Widgets are a core feature and their functionality is part of WordPress and not something handled by the theme.
    I think text widgets filter out some or all JavaScript. Try using the newer HTML widget instead.
