Hi guys, first of all, thank you so much for this awesome free product!
I’m using the latest Tempera with the latest Polylang with strings. Doing EN/RU site. If I create a widget with English default text and then set it to show everywhere, then this widget’s title as well as text are available in Strings to localize, and translations save ok. Though, when you switch between the languages, the text is still only in English. Though, with other widgets (on the site), translations work flawless and switch fine.
Ok, so as a workaround I could create 2 widgets for each language and show them only for needed languages. But it then stuck into the impossibility to translate “Read more text”. It simply doesn’t show in the Strings and it is not a part of theme translations, I guess.
Is there any way of solving it?
August 16th, 2016 at 03:07 #38400Seems like Russian theme translation dissapeared with the todays update, or I might confuse it with one of Parabalas. Anywhay, I started translation of PO files for Tempera, how can I share it?
August 16th, 2016 at 23:44 #38416Pretty interesting: with today’s update of Polylang to 2.0.1 and Strings to 3.2.1 with Tempera 1.4.3, the translation for a) widget text did appear b) translation for this button did appear. So now it’s possible to use 2 copies of the widget and show each of them for each language. Normal translation (fully translated plugin) is still not possible, as a) widget’s title is not possible to translate b) though text is possible to translate, it still fails to switch.
