Hi guys,
I need a help or guidance to modify tempera themes. I’m using smart slider 3 and I want to put it only in the front page / home page and not appear in the single post when users click one of the posts.
So far, I just put the plugin into the above content area and it shows in the front page / home page and the single post.
Can you guys, help me how to do that?
Thank you.April 29th, 2016 at 13:18 #36578ZedCryout Creations mastermindYou will need to customize the file responsible for the theme’s presentation page (frontpage.php) and replace the built-in slider with your own slider.
You should definitely do this in a child theme. If you’re not using the theme’s presentation page things are simpler as you can simply place your slider in the above content widget area and use a conditionality plugin to limit that widget’s visibility to the homepage.
