I apologize if this is a duplicate. I thought I had posted this earlier today, but I don’t see it in the forum.
I would like to make the Cryout Columns into links, or to put it another way, I’d like to make the images links.
The way things are now, hovering over the image animates the “read more” button, which is a link. Alternatively (or on my phone), the “read more” button appears under the image. This is cool, but counter-intuitive for my purposes. I’d like to set it so the user can simply click the image to take them to the associated page, but I can’t figure out how to do this. Is it even possible?

So…is there no way to do this? Or no easy way? Or am I so far off-base that it’s not worth commenting on? Have I missed something ridiculously simple?
I put text widgets into the Presentation Page (although it said not to) and it produced the desired behavior, but the site didn’t scale down to smaller screens properly. The graphics overlapped each other instead of dropping into a vertical column.
If it can’t be done or I’ll need a degree in site development to change things, that’s fine. Just please someone tell me so I can stop puttering. 🙂

i have the exact same issue … i would like to make the Column Widget images hyperlinked in the Presentation Page … if this is not possible, can this be added as a new feature in an upcoming release? …

Column widgets images are links since version 1.3.
They don’t follow the open in new window option yet, but this will be done in a future update.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
