How to edit header to include title & logo image

I am trying to edit the header to include the title & description on the left and the logo on the right. From what I understand I can only insert a logo if I also insert a header banner image. I want the banner to remain black. Any tips/pointers/assistance would be greatly appreciated! I am not too savvy with HTML, so I’ve been using the basic edit functions thus far.
