Design & customization issues

Hi guys,

First I want to thank you for an awesome theme! You have done a great job.
It is my cherry popping site on WP.
I ran into some design and customization issues and would appreciate to get a solution:
1)Responsiveness of the header – I put a logo (without background) into the header, add a text and changed the background of the container to white. On the big screen, it looks great, when I simulate to smaller screen, the background becomes transparent and the text messes up. How can I calibrate the background to stay white and the text to slide under the logo.

2)The width of the main container – The width of the main container (compering to the background) with the pre-installed text was great. I change the text couple of times and in the last one, the main container width stretched and covered all the background form the sides. How can I resize it back?
