How do I put something in the address bar? Currently, it only shows the favicon.
Thank you.

February 10th, 2015 at 15:11 #30534Ana-MariaI think you should check 2 things first:
1)
1.a) Under the “Settings” see “General” settings and check if “Site Title” and “Tagline” are written as you want them to be.
2.a) The same should be also done under “Appearance” –> “Customize”
There you can also set “Site Title” and “Tagline”. (It should be the same as under the “Settings”.)2)
Then check the Permalink Settings. Under the “Settings” go to “Permalinks”. There you can set its structure.Hope this would help! ๐
February 10th, 2015 at 21:13 #30538Theresa KnopsThank you for your suggestions. I had already attempted the things that you suggested and the site title appears over my header, so I don’t have anything in that box. Anything else that you can suggest would be most appreciated.

I just looked at your website. How did you get second line of the site title (below your company name) to appear so large? I cannot find this option and mine is so small.
Thanks.

I created a header in Publisher that included the logo and site title (both lines) and uploaded it as the header image. I really like the way that it looks; however I may need to change it unless I can figure out another way to get YVSA in the address bar.

Well… I’ll try one more guessing… ๐
As it seam to me your header image cause the “trouble”. Even dough, I must admit I also like it how it looks like. Therefore, I would try to bypass or get around the “problem” in the following way…
1) I would resize the header image just a little bit and make it little smaller.
2) Then I would as a “Site Title” put just the acronym (“YVSA”) of your full site name (in my previous message I described where and how to do it under 1a and 2a)
3) The “Tagline” I would leave blank. My guess is (if you do what I just suggested) your acronym would appear somewhere above your logo (in the circle). And I believe it wouldn’t damage the good look of your site.
Besides, you can also adjust the size of the title (acronym) under “Tempera Settings” –> “Text Settings” –> “Site Title Font”, by picking a smaller size of the Font (instead e.g. 38px – you can choose 30px or even lower).
Hope this would finally help! ๐
