When I asked it to do the excerpt on the home page, it starts the excerpt with the word (By) in the slider and in the post excerpt as well. It doesn’t show the author and I don’t want it to on the home page. But how do I get rid of the unwanted word?
Please disregard the request for assistance. I discovered the issue myself which was nothing with the theme itself. It was a plugin I installed called Social Media Feather. I had a box checked called “Show Credit” that caused the issue.
