By necessity in working with WooCommerce on a site with Tempera, I’ve had to make the Default Layout setting become “single column, no sidebar” to avoid some WooCommerce page display conflicts…
This is working fine everywhere and for the pages that DO need the sidebar, we could simply change the Template setting in “Page Attributes” on a per page basis — except, this doesn’t work. The Template setting in Page Attributes seems to be completely ignored.
I’m trying to create the BLOG page with a Right sidebar, and it’s ignoring the setting of “Two Columns, Right Sidebar”….
Any hints on getting Tempera to respect the Template Page Attribute?
May 3rd, 2014 at 13:26 #25087Stu WestfieldExperiencing something similar. I would like to create some pages with two columns…text in one column, images + some text in the other column. Mantra appears to ignore the page attribute “Two columns, Sidebar on Left”.
Any ideas? Much appreciated.June 20th, 2014 at 15:21 #25854EstherI am an absolute beginner and just trying to get started. I want to remove the sidebar comletely, on Default there is a right sidebar. But under Layout Settings / Main Layout me clicking on the one column with no side bar is getting ignored. How do I remove that sidebar?

I have the same problem. The template settings does not work.
Do you have any idea…?August 6th, 2014 at 03:57 #26517ToniHi Esther, I this can be done at a global level by using Appearance > Tempera settings > Layout Settings and then selecting the design layout without the sidebar from the pictures shown.
