Hi all,
I’m running the latest version of the Tempera theme (1.2.1), ever since updating to 1.2.0 the new mobile menu icon appears when viewing on mobile browsers/smaller browser windows but clicking or tapping on this icon does not expand the menu.
Is anyone experiencing anything similar or is anyone able to offer a fix?
Have been desperate for help since 1.2.0 was released as I’m a big fan of the theme.

Hi Ben,
Please update to the latest version. Also try disabling all plugins for a second and see if the menu works then. This looks like a plugin incompatibility.

Thanks for your response. I’ve updated to 1.2.2 and disabled all plugins (all at the same time and one by one), the mobile menu still refuses to display.
Further assistance would be appreciated.

The mobile version of your site looks great from over here (the menu shows normally). What device and what browser are you testing it from? Make sure you clear your browser cache.

You’ve just caught me out! Performed some maintenance tonight to try and get to the bottom of this issue. I’ve now resolved it.
This was an issue to do with my child theme, and rather fittingly you’ve just published a child theme tutorial: http://www.cryoutcreations.eu/wordpress-themes/wordpress-tutorials/wordpress-child-themes
