Is tempera 100% compatible with wordpress 4.0? Has anyone upgraded? Have there been problems?
I HAVE UPGRADED TO WORDPRESS 4.00
Yeah there are some issues with the Temera theme on WORDPRESS 4.
Firstly, I am great fan of CRYOUT teams theme, and presently using Tempera and Parabola, AND I LOVE IT. Thanks to to Team CRYOUT, great work, keep it up.
Now, only TEMPERA issue on wordpress 4 is that on presentation page, the site now SHOW FULL POST AND NOT THE SUMMARY.
The site was showing latest 10 posts with summary on the presentation page.
So, I decided to change the theme to PARABOLA, another beautiful theme, but the problem is same. The presentation page here as well shows full post instead of the summary. And I loved the summary in the theme. And on PARABOLA theme social media shows only four buttons, altough I have set it to five buttons.
Otherwise they work absolutely fine.
Now my site is on PARABOLA theme.
Please, fix it, as I love your themes.

SaranActually that’s not true Saran, if you select to show the excerpt from the theme settings page >> Excerpt settings, then the Presentation Page will show excerpts. That’s how it’s always been and has nothing to do with the 4.0 update.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.Thanks for reply Kay. But its not working for me now it used to be okay before. My website is http://www.aapdapunjab.com/ and the settinf that I have used in >>Excerpt setting are as below:
Home page: excerpt
Sticky Posts: excerpt
Archive and categorypages: Excerpt
Number of words for post excerpt: 50
Magazine layout: disable
Excerpt suffix: …

Kay, you were RIGHT, I was WRONG.
THERE ARE NO COMPATIBILITY ISSUES, the problem was a the installed PLUGIN.
I am now trying to resolve it.
SO THE TEMPERA HAS NO ISSUES WITH WORDPRESS 4.0

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.Since I did the updates to 4.0 I have no margins on the left side of the page. How can I adjust the setting to fix this?
I Just update to wordpress 4.0 and now I can’t edit any page it doesnt display content

Whenever you have dashboard issues after a WP update, start by switching to one of the default TwentySomething themes (make sure it is updates as well) and then disable all plugins until your dashboard returns to working condition.
Then backtrack your steps and re-enable things one by one to find out the culprit.
