Hi. I am using tempera. I have set the presentation page columns to display widget columns. I have set 4 columns, and the settings tells me to use images of a width of 225 px as you can see here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6808955/tempera%20settings.PNGThen i went to widget area and placed 4 images sized exactly 225×225 px.
Now the bug i experience is the following, if i view the home page from my computer, or with my ipad in ladscape mode, the images are displayed correctly as you can see (for columns with the square images)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6808955/foto%202.PNGBUT, if i put the ipad upright, (or it’s the same on my computer if i reduce the width size of my safari window…)… the columns become 2 instead of 4(maybe it has something to to with the mobile view…) and the images are no more square, but they are enlarged and not displayed correctly.
See example here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6808955/foto%201.PNGIt’s bugging me, because most of the people who use tablet for surfing use it upright, so most of the people would see the images not correctly.
Where am i wrong? How can i prevent this bug? Images are exactly the required size of 225×225 px.
Can you help me?
If you need further information, please ask me, thank you.February 4th, 2014 at 05:44 #21475CarolinaI am experiencing the same issue please help

February 19th, 2014 at 15:55 #23914WayfarerHi Gabriele
I checked on my ipad and confirm that I see what you’re describing – the cyrout images are fine in landscape and distorted in portrait view.
I don’t have any knowledge about these things, but it strikes me that because your site width changes in portrait, that the theme is re-sizing the image width accordingly. Have you tried disabling responsiveness to see if that helps?
I am just guessing with this stuff so if I am talking out of my backside, fair enough. I just wanted to at least let you know someone was listening. 🙂
Good luck. I hope it gets resolved for you.

February 20th, 2014 at 03:49 #23943Rebecca Woods-HillColumns in presentation page were perfect – aligned, even, great. The images worked; it was all good. And then, quite suddenly, it wasn’t. Everything was pushed to the edges and now looks dreadful and pinched. I cannot sort out how to fix it. I redid the images, re-configured the order of columns, changed the number, the lot. What happened?
March 3rd, 2014 at 15:42 #24181gabrieleOK. I tried and it actually made the trick. disabling responsiveness made the trick and now the page shows on ipad on the same way both in portrait and landscape.
i don’t know what other things responsiveness affects. I’m leaving it like this for now. and see in the future. thank you .March 3rd, 2014 at 15:44 #24182gabrieleyou should give it a try too and see what happens on your website by disabling the responsiveness of the tempera settings.

Although we may not always reply, we are carefully listening 😉 So the columns aspect ratio changing on responsive view has been hopefully fixed as of version 0.9.9. Please update and let us know if everything’s okay now.
