Please help, since the WP 4.8 update, I’m getting a pop-up error in the editor.
“Failed to load content css: http://eagerjourneys.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php/?action=dynamic_stylesMy blog is: http://www.eagerjourneys.com

The screen stays full for a split second and then reduces to aligning left on the page! It is on posts and pages.. please fix this!!!

June 14th, 2017 at 14:53 #47230I just did an update and the bug is still there… this is what I now see when trying to edit or create a new page or post
As you can see the post info etc no longer fills the box… it has reduced to 1/2 the size and all to the left!

June 14th, 2017 at 17:58 #47261kalagrowPower UserI tried updating the Tempera theme and it crashed my site. I had to go in to an older version. This happened twice. Updated today, June 14, and had to go back.
June 15th, 2017 at 16:51 #47318ZedCryout Creations mastermindTempera’s 1.6.1 update includes two changes related to the content editor:
- a fix for the “Failed to load content CSS” error with WordPress 4.8
- a revamp for the editor styling which tries to recreate the same appearance of the content as on the frontend into the editor itself (to give a feel about how your content will actually look and fit on the site). This includes the content width and text and background colours.
If you dislike this second change we’ve also put an option under the theme’s Miscellaneous settings (in update 1.6.1.1) with which the editor styling can be turned off.
@DuffyBear, we’ll release a theme update to correct that problem since WordPress 4.8 in Mantra too.
@kalagrow, please expand on “it crashed my site”.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

June 15th, 2017 at 18:51 #47335Thank you.. I disabled or turned off the editor styling.. problem resolved. I didn’t realized this was there so thank you for letting me know! All is good now on my site!
June 21st, 2017 at 03:37 #47987TrishPower UserRe editor styling feature – it’s a great start but what would be better is if it could read my custom css 🙂
