[disclaimer – I did modify the theme, so can’t be 100% sure this happens on a “pure” version of the theme. Maybe somebody else can test for me]
If you use a block quote to indent a link (which I did with an old theme which didn’t stylize the block quote), then the link is no longer clickable.
So then edit the .css to your liking.
