Given there is no separarte forum for Septera yet, posting these questions here.
Installed the theme yesterday and love it! Thanks for the great work.Is there a way to turn the Header Overlay off completely?
I´d like to have my header images show up in original colors.Would it be possible to turn the page title as text title off at the Text Areas at the Landing Page?
Thanks for your help!

1. To hide the titles of the text areas you can add this to the ‘Additional CSS’ area in the Customizer:
.lp-text-title { display: none; }
2. You can disable the overlay by turning the header overlay opacity (under Colors > Header) to 0 but the image will still be grayed out. We’ll add a fix to this in the next theme update to remove the grayscale filter if the opacity is 0.

July 24th, 2017 at 11:13 #50751I don’t mean to be rude, but that blue overlay on the headers is absolutely ridiculous. I thought I had finally found a theme I could build upon, but now I’m stuck with every header image I post turning blue after one second.
My question is this…
Why in hell wouldn’t you include the option to DISABLE this feature in the FIRST RELEASE of your theme???
Why do you think “everybody” who uses this theme wants their header pic to turn blue??? I simply do not understand your logic.
Now I have to start searching all over again for yet another theme. I wish someone would just make ONE theme that is LOGICALLY CONSTRUCTED.
July 24th, 2017 at 17:53 #50796KayCryout Creations mastermindHi @TonyBosley,
But of course there’s an option to DISABLE it. Did you actually read the posts above you? Almost everything in our themes is disable-able. Where exactly have you looked for it?
I mean the logical thing, if you wanted to remove the blue COLOR, would be going to COLOR settings, right? And since you want to remove that color from the header, you would go further to COLORS >> HEADER. And as mentioned in a post above that was an option since the FIRST RELEASE (over 6 months ago), there was a grayscale bug that was causing another issue.
But instead or carefully reading posts or taking the logical steps mentioned above, you wasted your time (and others’) with a non-constructive forum post.
