I love the layout of the presentation page as the home page of the site, is there any way to add widgets into the columns rather than images? I’d like on of the columns to be the latest post from the blog (news) page with the title linking over to it…help?

    Thanks

    Hi Heather

As far as I am aware you cant replace a presentation page column with a widget, you could create an image to say something like “Read latest posts” and then set that image to link to you blog. You could add a recent posts footer widget to the front page or set presentation page to show excerpts from latest posts.

    I hope this helps

I’m using Parabola Presentation Page as landing page and under “Read Setup” on WordPress the Home page shown as Last Posts. (I tried to change to static page but Presentation page disappear). Is it possible to set Presentation Page as static? I don’t think so.

So now I don’t understand which is the link to my blog because I can’t set a page to it (You can’t select any pages if “start page shown” is set to “Latest Posts”.
I would to link an image on the column to blog (because in there I’ll put news) but I miss the link (it seems that my blog IS the presentation page, or not?).
Thanks in advance, sorry but english is not my language
    Ciao

    I found how to 🙂
If you’ve enabled the presentation page and also want to create a blog page (like the default WordPress homepage), create a new empty page and choose “Blog Template (Posts Page)” as the page template.

Then add a link to that page in your menu(s) (if it isn’t displayed automatically).

    Thanks
