testimonials background color different

    I am using the Axelerant Testimonials Widget plugin with Parabola. When each testimonial is viewed as a post, it looks like the rest of the site, background color is consistent. However, when I create a page using the testimonial plugin, each testimonial appears with a white background and one outline on the left vertical edge of that rectangle. Can you tell why that appears so?

    SOLVED: the plugin author sent me the CSS to add to the theme to correct the problem. Here it is for anyone who needs it:
    .testimonials-widget-testimonial q,
    .testimonials-widget-testimonial blockquote {
    quotes: none;
    border: none !important;
    background: none !important;
    }
