Has anyone ever been able to successfully make posts show on the presentation page? I seemingly have all the setting correctly but my posts are nowhere. Only when i turn off the presentation page do i get my posts showing on the home screen.

Are you speaking of the the posts not appearing in the Slider or the columns underneath the Slider?
Posts (the default “Blog homepage”) does not appear on the frontpage. This is clearly explaind in the dashboard hints: The presentation page completely replaces your homepage. If you want to use both the presentation page and the default posts blog page, create a page and set its template to “Blog homepage (posts list)”

It isn’t that I want the posts to show up as the blog on the home page, but that I want them to load into the slider when that option is selected (instead of custom slides). Right now that space is just showing a spinning circle whether I select random, latest or specific posts.
Same here after the update I lost the slider on the presentation page and gained double widgets on side bars, I think its time to switch to another theme this one has annoying bugs.
My presentation page is also not displaying properly since the update — neither the slider nor the columns or any extra text are displaying, just the header and footer… Hoping the new update that fixes the doubles widgets fixes that, too!
I have the same problem too: my presentation page has disappeared since you did the last update. Please make the changes soon!
The slider was working not anymore – constantly trying to upload images on the Presentation page and it won’t complete the task. Why would this stop all of a sudden? Someone needs to FIX THIS – unbelievable amateur stuff here.
The default WordPress behavior uses as the front page whatever you selected in the admin section under Settings >> Reading >>Front page displays, where you probably have selected a static page. Reset the value to ‘your latest posts’ and everything should be back to normal. It is a small bug on our part but it only happens if you misuse or do not understand this WordPress feature. This will also be fixed in the next theme version.
@Tim R: So before you start using words bigger than yourself in an area where your knowledge is clearly lacking you should not change any settings that you don’t know the effect of, or in case that you do, you should remember to go back and check them again.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.I’m having a similar problem on my Presentation Page. The main slider’s only displaying one or two posts, and I’d prefer to have it display roughly 5-7 posts.
I’ve tried the fix Kay described above, but it doesn’t seem to help.
Brian, you can display any number of posts (on various selection criteria) in the slider. Play around with the presentation page slider options in the theme settings.
