I have a similar problem, except its with woocommerce product images. If you’ll look at the source, you can see the anchor tag gets cut off right before the img tag starts, causing a syntax error and the image not to show.

I switched to 2015 theme and that works correctly.

Hey!

I have the same problem after updating to 1.7.1 version. All featured images are in place when checking posts, you just cant see them on the homepage.

Any tips?

I have a similar problem with Feature image disappearing straight after updating. Both on our posts page and on a calendar page generated by Events Calendar PRO plugin. Seems problem with Featured image on the them update.

I have the same problem. After updating to 1.7.1, featured images have disappeared on the homepage.

You can find the changelog on WordPress here: https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?old_path=parabola/1.7.1&new_path=parabola/1.7.2#file101

This will show what changed from 1.7.1 to 1.7.2, if you follow the change in theme_loop.php it will work again!

How do you revert to a previous version? You mentioned going back to 2015 version. I’m sorry I am not tech savvy much, how do I do that?
