On my website the homepage slider has some sort of glitch. Regardless of the image chosen, the slider is running two frames of the same photograph. The first image appears perfectly as it should. About 30 seconds after loading it starts rotating in a second version of the same photograph, but the image is now zoomed in, cropped, and poor resolution.
I do not know anything about web development or coding, so I recently hired someone to increase the speed of our website. This issue arose during their work, but they are telling me it is a theme issue, rather than an issue caused by their work.
Can someone please help me identify the problem and determine whether or not this is a theme issue or a problem caused on our end. I know so little about web development that it would be very easy for the person we hired to take advantage of an issue they may have caused. Thank you!
May 31st, 2015 at 20:45 #32016Tim HendersonI have a similar problem. The slider works perfectly on a desktop browser but on my phone it during the transition loads each image twice, one stretched to twice the height and one correctly displayed on top of it. This is causing the other content to be pushed down. I have tried using both chrome and Firefox on android and the same thing is happening. I have cropped all of the images to the same size as the slider.I used this theme on a previous website and this was the only issue I had with it. I ended up not using presentation page in the end which was a shame as I quite like it.
