Wanting to use front-columns-box on interior page

I love the feature on the presentation page…where blog posts can be hovered on and they show the title and excerpt beautifully…I want to be able to make a page of that displaying posts from my custom post type called costume. I have a page that is pulling the featured images, but Im having a really hard time getting around the native code…Any solution would be greatly appreciated…
