I’m trying to get the presentation page to work. There are two options for types of home pages, “Your latest posts” and “A static page.” According to the FAQ, Nirvana adds a presentation page as a third option, but it is not there. Where can I find it?

You can find that option (and a lot more) on the Nirvana Settings page under Appearance settings in the WordPress dashboard.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.Then I’m guessing my problem lies elsewhere. I’ve set up the Nirvana presentation settings as best as I could, but without any result. There is no slideshow at all. :/
What are your settings under Presentation Page Settings and what did you select under ‘Front Page displays’ in WordPress >> Reading? Make sure ‘Your latest posts’ is selected there and that the Presentation Page is enabled.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.That was it: I needed to select “Your latest posts,” which was a bit confusing, since I don’t have any posts, just a static front page.
