From image to image the pictures in the slider are causing a height discrepancy. The first slide is huge, then it shrinks down to what height I wanted, but still shifts in size every transition.
Also as a side questions: the text on the slides look cut off, is there a way to cause the text to go to the side of the image, or should I just brush off my image editing skills and create new featured images?
March 30th, 2016 at 22:48 #36258ElliotUpdate: My major concern has become the fact that upon initial loading of the page the Featured image (I have sliders set to Random Posts) is absolutely huge, and looks terrible. Size then (sort of) normalizes, but I can’t figure out how to stop the initial disfigurement.

March 31st, 2016 at 14:07 #36265DaveI fixed the issue with this bit of custom CSS:
.nivo-main-image { height: auto; }

If using post generated slides, the theme registers the correct crop size (so make sure to regenerate thumbnails if using previously uploaded images).

That being said, I’m not sure what you mean as I am new to this and would like to learn the proper way without the work-arounds.
