How to remove the "read more" link (not button) from slider excerpts

    Hi,

I want the slider to show an excerpt of the post (either with “<!–more–>” or with a custom excerpt), including html tags. Since the Nirvana 1.4.0 update, html tags on posts excerpts are disabled, however they do work for a custom excerpt (which did not work in previous versions of Nirvana).
The problem is, I get an extra “read more” link in the slider (in addition to the normal slider “read more” button).
Is there a way to get rid of it?

    Thanks!

HTML was always supported in the manual excerpts (the manual excerpt, the same as the automatically generated one, is handled by WordPress and not processed by the theme).

I cannot recreate the double button on the slides on our test site and without being able to read Hebrew I cannot understand what is being displayed on your site’s slider.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

The button with the white border (“לפרטים נוספים”) is the normal Nirvana slider “read more” button.
The extra link that appears when using the manual excerpt, is the last line before that: “המשיכו לקרוא החור השחור במרכז הגלקסיה שלנו”, which says “read more <post title>”.
