Specify pages on which social media icons appear

I’m sure I’ll get there with code eventually, but it’d be nice if one could easily select which pages the different formations of social media icons appear on. For example, it would be handy if you could select one set of icons (i.e. footer and right-side) for the presentation page, but another set (i.e. right sidebar only) for standard pages.
