Last modified date

It would be really useful if the theme settings would allow to enable a “last modified” label and date format pattern which can be enabled to pages and posts. The formatted string could be shown just above and to the right of the the page/post’s headline.

Something like this;

Label: “Last updated on the [modified-date]”
Pattern: “dd.mm-yyyy”
