We have a website, https://uucm.org/ that uses Nirvana, and, on the front page we use the Presentation Page slider, displaying “Latest Posts from Category”, where each said post uses a featured image to provide the image for each slider image. I believe this is standard usage.
The problem is that, once the second image slides in (or any other transition style), the first image seems to be moved down, and its lower part shows below the subsequent images, producing a very ugly effect. I have tried to figure out what might be causing this behavior, without success.
I would appreciate some ideas about what I should try to change to make the slider behavior correct. A solution would be even better! Feel free to take a look at the website. I see this behavior in Google Chrome, but I don’t think it’s browser specific.
Any help would be appreciated.

The slider images need to be all of the same sizes (or at least same aspect ratio) to avoid weird transition effects.
Nirvana registers the needed image size for WordPress to crop featured images as required.
If the posts’ featured images were uploaded before the theme was installed/activated on the site or the slider size options were changed after the featured images were uploaded, the crops may not exist or may be the incorrect size. In this case try regenerating the thumbnails.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

I have the same problem with the Presentation page slider, but only in Chrome on my androidphone. I have tested with Firefox in my android also, and with that browser it works like a charm.
On a iPhone I don´t know how it works.
The images have the same size and aspect ratio.

Chrome: The slider missbehaving
Firefox: The slider works fine

Jetpack’s Photon service will also cause animation distortion issues on mobile devices with the built-in slider, because it fails to supply needed size information.
