Hi Cryout, thanks for making such a great theme! Very versatile and customizable, love it! I’m having some issues with it though – a couple of days ago, the footer became huge, at least twice of what it’s supposed to be. Any and all attempts to fix it with CSS or cover it failed (I’m still learning, so I’m not exactly a code master). I tried fixing it by finding the original contents of footer.php online and pasting them. That didn’t help either, so I was forced to just hide the entire footer with CSS. Sorry, I know you don’t like it when people change the footer, but I think it had to be done.
My current problem is this: the bright blue hover effect is gone. Not entirely – it still works on the social icons. But not in the navigation menu (the items used to flash blue when hovered on or selected). Also, there’s something else going on with the menu: whenever I click on a page, it doesn’t start loading immediately – it takes like a second. During that second, the submenu disappears and appears again. (none of my main menu items are clickable, you navigate through submenus because I use the main menu items as titles). Kind of slides in and out, not sure how to explain it. What is going on?? Some help would be greatly appreciated!
I’ve put the website I’m working on’s URL in one of the fields I had to fill to post this topic. If you can’t see it, I’ll post it again.

I didn’t want to remove it, I was forced to after it became HUGE and it looked absurd. I don’t know how it happened, I don’t know what I did to cause it or if I even did anything – it just happened. I though there may have been something wrong with footer.php, so I actually googled what it was supposed to contain for Nirvana’s latest version and I pasted it – didn’t work. I tried setting a different height for the footer with CSS – didn’t work either, it was only affecting the bottom portion. I may not have been selecting it correctly – I did mention I’m still learning.
I did all that in order to KEEP YOUR FOOTER. My client actually requested I removed it, and I told them about your policy and that they’d have to buy the premium version, so he stopped asking. Couple of days later, it blows up and becomes 2 – 3x its regular size. After trying everything I could think of, I gave up. Other people have access to the site’s admin panel, I don’t know who touched what. A plugin might have messed it up, I don’t know. But I didn’t do it on purpose and I only removed it when I absolutely had to. So please keep that attitude in check – I’ve seen people from your team being dicks to others on here and on WP’s support page, it really puts me off of wanting to use any of your products, free or premium, in the future. I was going to ask you to help me fix the original footer because I liked how it looked, that’s why I mentioned having a problem with it. But after waiting for over a week to get help only to see you bitching me out, it looks like I’m keeping your footer off my client’s site. You have made a great theme, I salute you for that, but you can’t treat your clients like this, even the ones who aren’t currently paying you. To think I was going to donate after finishing the project..
PS. Oh and the highlights? My touchpad’s drivers needed updating, nothing to do with the website itself. So I guess I don’t need your help for that either.
April 3rd, 2015 at 05:11 #31009LeahMind you, I’m irritated not because you took so long to answer or because of your policy on footers (which I personally find ridiculous). I just don’t like being made to feel like I’ve done something wrong when I haven’t.

We give out this theme for free, but under this simple condition: we do not provide support if our credit link is removed without our approval (no matter the reason).
We don’t hunt you down, nor do we make your site blow up if you remove the link (like other theme developer do). We simply don’t provide individual support – I consider this an acceptable attitude. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
