The bundled fonts in the theme archive seem to be missing German Umlauts (“Ä”, “Ö”, etc.). This is a bit annoying cause you can’t use them in a German blog.
The bundled font files to not include extended character sets (to keep the theme size low). Use Google fonts for such characters (and make sure you use the identifier that requests the charset as well).
