Custom Footer Text and the shortcode

    Hello,

    After the last update the PayPal shortcode [paypal-donation] for the donations button in the Custom Footer Text under Miscellaneous Settings is not working anymore.
    The plugin is this:

    I removed it from these settings and moved in the right margin widget for time being but would like to have it functioning again in the Custom Footer Text

    We have not removed shortcodes functionality from the custom footer text field. Test some other shortcode there to see if it still isn’t working then also check the content placed in the field to ensure it is not invalid and somehow interfering with shortcodes functionality.
