December 23rd, 2014 at 15:24 #28781PatJust noticed that the demo of Nirvana on cryout website functions the same way. On my computer, the animation works fine, on others it doesn’t.
Is there any solution to this?

Can you pinpoint what the computers that don’t work have in common (OS / browser)?

Not animated, not fixed on image. In spark browser the animation shows on top of the image to start with. When hover over the line gets longer and the image darker. Hope that helps.
December 26th, 2014 at 09:24 #28836susieOK – I think I got it to work. I filled in all the fields and made the image size EXACTLY as needed and voila!, it worked. So far I’ve done only one, but I think that is the trick, else I am back.
PS: not filling in all fields resulted in the image not showing. It had just the little icon that tells us that there is no connection to the image.December 27th, 2014 at 16:09 #28841susieI am back. I noticed also that the animation changes to text under image as soon as the browser window is narrowed. Maybe that was actually the cause for my animation not working. Hence, just grab the right side of the browser and widen the window. It should jump back to animation.
January 4th, 2015 at 02:50 #28940ZedCryout Creations mastermindThe column titles and texts moving under the images is part of the responsiveness functionality. The columns rearrange themselves on smaller displays as they are considered mobile devices, and mobile devices don’t support hovering.

Great theme, but this is not working either on Safari or Chrome browser 1280 mac 13′ monitor. Tried several settings in Column Display but it doesn’t work. If I disable the responsiveness in layout setting it works, but that’s not an option. Any idea? Thanks

If it’s under 1080px wide, the theme treats it as a mobile device (tablet) and columns re-arrange themselves. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
