martinFebruary 24th, 2013 at 00:25 #3820Joe NanceI would also like to change the footer. I’m OK with leaving the site info which gives kudos to Mantra (great and very flexible theme) but am trying to mimic as closely as possible an existing site. So I would like to add a line to the footer. The existing site has a line as follow: “Privacy Policy : Disclaimer” where the two items are links to pages in on the site. I would like to do the same. How can I insert this?
Thanks,
Joe
February 25th, 2013 at 04:53 #3832GradyYou will want to edit the footer.php. If you are using a child theme, just copy the footer.php file into the childtheme folder and make your edits. If you are not using a child theme, you will want to look into using one as any edits you make will be replaced when/if you update the theme.
If you are wanting to use the theme-functions.php method you will want to make edits to the section under /**
* Site info
*/and
/**
* Copyright text
*/Hope this helps.

If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
