Using shortcodes in home page

    Hello
    I am trying to show my recent blogs and popular blogs in two columns in home page. I am not sure where to plug in code like this to make it happen. I am new to wordpress and mantra theme so any help would be appreciated.

    [mantra-multi]
    [mantra-column width='1/2']This is a half column[/mantra-column]
    [mantra-column width='1/2']This is another half column[/mantra-column]
    [/mantra-multi]
