The presentation page is not showing up on my website

Hi I am a bit of a novice and this sounds silly, anyway I was using a Swift theme on my website, (which I am building now) a friend of mine suggested parabola, which is awesome for my site. I had built some pages in the old swift theme. Anyway I automatically installed parabola and the inside pages are fine, however the presentation page images and sliders are not showing up on the home page.
I uploaded a new header which works perfectly. How do I get the presentation page to appear as my home page? I have uploaded 5 slider images and want to now get into the columns but all I get is the header, the menu and an empty home page. I deleted all of the text from the previous home page leaving it blank.
What do I do?
