    We are new using this framework template and wonder how to replace site name with logo on top left header.

    Hi Matrix,

    I am not sure, but I would try removing text from General Settings > Site Title and uploading logo using Appearance >Header.

    C11. How do I use an image for the site header and also hide the site title & description? / Why does my browser displays a dash as the site title?

    a) You can set the site header to use an image in Appearance > Header. Then hide the site title and description text from Mantra Settings > Graphics, the Title and Description option.
    If you’re using a (partly) transparent header image, it might be a good idea to disable the header background colour as well – Mantra Settings > Colors, leave the Header (Banner and Menu) Background Color field empty.

    b) The right way is to use the option to hide the title and description instead of blanking them in WordPress settings, as you’ll be left with a functional site title in the browser window and footer of the website (instead of a stray dash “-“). The option can be found under Mantra Settings > Graphics, Title and Description – show/hide.

    This theme is so good, but there I’m having the same issue and the posted work-arounds aren’t working for me.  I want to have a 250×75 image in the top left, not a 1100×75.  Loading a header image forces a crop and publish with the aspect ratio of the 1100×75, so when I load a 250×75 or 500×150 it ends up forcing me to crop the image.

    There are other free themes available that can do this, but I like the features of the admin better than other themes.  Add this header graphic and this will be dialed in.

    Create a transparent 1100×75 pixels image and place your 250×75 logo in the top left (actually just left). Then you’ll have a 1100×75 pixels image where only your initial size image is visible.

    Remember to save it as PNG.

    Very good idea Zed, but now Title and Description are over the logo…

    How to shift theses texts to the right to have both logo and text ?
