Removing comments area

    How do i remove the comments area in the bottom of the pages?

    Note:  in my installation (done this past weekend) the Comments disabled does not refresh.  I turned them off yet they still persisted. I rebooted, they persisted. I installed WP’s “disable comments” plugin and now they are gone.   It seems that Mantra doesn’t cycle back to update all its settings when Save is clicked….?  [Win7, Chrome]
