Change magazine layout to 1 per row

    I would like to change my magazine layout to one per row because with it set at two – the whole page looks all messy as each post is a different length even though they are all the same number of words. Is this possible please?
    I’d like it to be one per row with the featured image and then the first XXX number of words.

    The magazine layouts IS the two posts per row look.
    Without this it is just the standard blog page.

    Hey, can the number of columns increased in magazine layout? I want to make them 3. please help.
