I have Mantra version 2.5.0. Since I updated to WordPress 4.5.1 I can no longer use the visual editor. I can only make edits with the text editor now. I noticed there is an box there all the time to enter a hyper link. Not being able to use the visual editor is frustrating. Amy ideas on how I can fix this?
Does the visual editor return to working condition if you temporarily switch to one of the default Twenty themes?

I need to copy and paste the text into word, edit it and then copy and paste it back into Mantra. I have tested this in two browsers – safari and Firefox. Other wp themes work fine in both browsers.

Worpress doesn’t work : it says: theme-seo.php and theme-shortcodes.php are missed in wp-content-includes !! so i add them. and i can see my site (la-tete-dans-les-maths) BUT :
1) no more buttons (bold, italic….) in my visuel editor !!if i change the theme, it work !!??)
2) the thumbnails don’t take the font i added ( sf_slapstic_comic_shaded-webfont.eot ;
sf_slapstic_comic_shaded-webfont.svg ; sf_slapstic_comic_shaded-webfont.tiff ; sf_slapstic_comic_shaded-webfont.woff) but the title take this font !!???no answer to my problem !!??? with the new mantra’s update, i can’t use the visual editor but if i change the thème i can use it !!!????
and if i change browser(firefox, safari, google chrome), it doesn’t work !!

pascale/misspakou, theme-seo.php and theme-shortcodes.php are no longer part of Mantra since a few versions back (we’ve been forced to remove such functionality by the WordPress theme guidelines and review team).
If you’re getting errors about these files missing, you are running some kind of broken theme copy (which includes old and up to date files). Back up everything then delete and reinstall the theme.
Then recheck if the rest of the issues persist.

[cryout-column width="1/3"]Make sure you use the right quotes.
