Media Issue

Hi, I am having issues with my media. When I am posting a new post, and I insert Media, I can no longer see the picture that links you to the gallery within the post. Also, when I publish the post, some of the pictures appear and some don’t. They have a x there instead. I tried deactivating the plug-ins I installed recently but the issue was still there. Any thoughts? Thanks!
