Blog Font Display with Excerpts

Recently, I changed the blog to Excerpts rather than full post. It’s worked very well functionally.
However, I’ve noticed a font issue. Either Bolding or Italics carry forward into all content that follows on the page if the excerpt breaks in Italics or Bold content.

This carries into the Sidebar also.

When I page forward, the fonts returns to normal until the first excerpt break with a bold or italic and again it covers the rest of the page. It also accumulates. For example, if the second post breaks on bold, the rest of the page will be bolded. If the fourth post breaks on italics, what follows will be bold and italics. Post Titles too.

I checked it in Chrome and it does the same thing, so it’s not a browser issue. I can’t say how long this has been present because I just started using excerpts.
