    I have a mulitlingual site.
    I would like to translate the slider captions (or show a different shortcode for the 2nd language) and the ‘read more’ and ‘more posts’ labels.
    Is there a way to do this?

    Depends on the multilanguage plugin you use. Fluida is comptible with WMPL, Polylang and qTranslate X and these have different ways of handling the multiple versions.

    I am using WPML. How would I use a different slider shortcode for the 2nd language? Where do I put the code?

    I currently have two sites and on one I have installed polylang but am not able to translate the featured icon blocks. Is there another plugin I could use that does translate the icon blocks?

    Polylang allows you to define multi-language versions of pages, which will be displayed accordingly by the theme.
