SEO checker found multiple h1 tags on landing page

    I’m using the Fluida theme with the dynamic landing page. Looks great but a recent SEO checker identified multiple H1 tags. These were all coming from the 3 titles of the of the other pages (snipits) that I have in the section under the title image.
    My question is will this have any effect on how a page ranks with Google or other search engines? Some forums say no. Anyone have thoughts on this?

    The site title is normally the H1 tag on the homepage. We’ll look into changing the second H1 (the page title) that’s visible with the current content configuration to use a different tag.
