Hi,
I’m trying to set up a google adsense account for my site but my application keeps getting denied, I think because I don’t know how to put the adsense code in correctly. After submitting my request to Adsense it gives a section of code and says:
‘Paste it into the HTML of http://www.rockandrolltraffic.com, right after the <head> tag.’Unfortunately I’m not sure how to do this, and don’t want to mess with the site’s code without knowing what I’m doing.
Can anyone advise?
Many thanks,
Cameron.Website: www.rockandrolltraffic.com

January 28th, 2017 at 23:21 #42282Hi, thanks for the reply. I’ve got the plugin, but before I can use it, it says the account needs to be authorized, and I can get it to do that without putting the code in the right place… as far as I know.
January 28th, 2017 at 23:31 #42283peter@pflyzcreative.comPower UserI tried setting up an account for a website with all original content and AdSense denied their application because of not enough original content. I can’t find a way to speak to anyone direct about AdSense…
I can’t remember being told to put code after the head tag – it is always put wherever you want the ad to display…
I would try again with another email.
January 28th, 2017 at 23:54 #42285It may well be that I’m having the same issue actually. It was one of the things listed. Didn’t think that could be the problem though as my site is also pretty much all original content.

January 30th, 2017 at 11:13 #42328Tried a different email but no luck. As far as I can tell I need to get into the background html of the site to add the code, but now sure if that’s possible or not? All the help I can find online seems to be about setting up Adsense with the plugin etc, noone seems to have got stuck at this stage.
