Short Horizontal Line No Longer Available

If you’re referring to buttons no longer being available in the editor toolbar, those are not under the theme’s control.

Color changes may happen if a recent update changed the core markup or classnames fundamentally. A link to a page exhibiting this would helps us figure things out.

I see what you mean. I guess Gutenberg changed the hr markup once again. We’ll have to account for this in the next theme update.

In the meantime, you can undo the styling change with CSS:

body hr.wp-block-separator,
body hr.wp-block-separator.is-style-wide {
    border-width: 0;
}
