Customize Pages to show posts

Dear Zen and Kay,
I am configuring the Anima Theme for my photography club and I was wondering how I could edit pages to show determined posts (as if they were category archives) in a way not related to the default setting but still using the style you created for the theme.
For example, I would like that in Page1 a list of Sticky Posts (lets say the last 4 pubblished) would be displayed along with a list of Post from Category1. And in Page2 I would like to show the last 8 posts from Category3.
Is there a way to do this?
