Can't update site title and tagline

    Hi,

    when I change the site title and tagline,nothing happens and the old one always shows up. Every other edit shows up immediately.

    I have tried clearing the cache,different devices and different wifi as well,nothing works.

    Anyone have an idea?

    The site title is normally displayed at the top left side of the header. If you’re referring to the text visible lower on the landing page (over the static slider image), that’s the static slider caption, which on first theme activation copies the site title and tagline.
