So, clumsy as they may be, Tempera took the first two steps (the second one mostly caused by a bad nudge we gave her at the first step) – but now she’s fine…
So here are the 1.0.1 and 1.0.1.1 changelogs:
- removed arbitrary max-width (html .mceContentBody) from Dashboard editor CSS (as it created confusion on the width and alignment of content)
- moved slider caption to bottom 20% instead of top for mobile devices
- added option to disable latest news in the theme settings page
- replaced the Presentation Page’s “Nothing Found” message when there are no published posts with an explanatory placeholder message
- improved behaviour by hiding the slider caption title / text when left empty in the settings
- the Presentation Page columns widget area function is now pluggable via child theme
- add ‘color schemes’ to WordPress theme description

Hi Zed, the social media links are still not working and the sliders are working oddly. Some sliders have the excerpts with ‘Read more’ links, others have no Read more and when you click on the image, the spinning square appears the same as it does when you click on social media links. ?
Hello, When I go to add media and create gallery album pictures is vertically in post, but when I preview the post pictures are fine (horizontally). Also I can’t edit pictures, when I click on the picture I can only resize the picture with dragging … How can I fix this ? Is there an update problem or something else ? You have a javascript error in the WP Essentials plugin.
This latest update broke our site. It seems to be a problem with the length of the page.
Most of the pages only have a bit of the background they should and the footer menu is missing.
Also, the slider on the presentation page doesn’t appear even though the settings for it are exactly the same.
Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise, we may have to switch to another theme.

Just wanted to drop by and say that this theme is amazing and the recent updates added things I wanted but hadn’t gotten around to doing yet (ex. option to hide tags from under posts on the front page).

I have a small issue with this theme. I have it set up to have three columns on the front page. On the right side I have links with graphics in a widget. However the last link carries over the url to the center column where there is nothing present except another text widget which has no links. It also creates a blank circle for teh siocial links and has the same link there as well, but not on the side. Is there a way to remove this so that when the mouse hovers over that blank section the link doesn’t make that column active as well as not having another link made in the social media section on the footer?
The links which you added to the sidebar are not closed. Make sure you close each
<a href...>tag you open with a</a>after the text/imageZed, What has happened to the social media links? At first they didn’t work, then they did. Now they don’t. I really like this theme and find it a pleasure to work with, but my new readers can’t connect.

Tempera is free, you don’t have to buy it to try it out. Just install it and play around with CSS to make the container semi-transparent (hint:
background: rgba(r,g,b,opacity)).The menus seem to disappear on category and archive pages? Any way to fix this?

I’ve rebuilt one of my websites a dozen times over the past 24 months. Why? The themes used couldn’t or wouldn’t hold up under the weight of multiple plugins, widgets, pages and post. The long short of it is that they just broke and I had to start all over again. Frustration on steroids is putting it mildly. I used free and premium themes (over a dozen) looking for a stable chassis that could take the weight. Tempera so far has delivered. It has been the only one that has delivered the features I need combined with a resilient endurance.Thanks so much. Good work. The only plugin I have been unable to use and would very much like to is “popup press” by Code Canyon. Any suggestions from support would be welcome.

Hi Kathleen, this appears to be a content-padding setting which can be found at the tempera settings>graphic settings>content margin>padding left/right. What is the number there? Could you change it to 20 and see what happens? For sure I can fix this for you if it isn’t working. Just let me know.
