1. W3 Total Cache plugin killed the slider for me. Disabling the plugin, brings the slider back.

   1. Disable CSS/JS minification in the plugin and it should no longer break the slider.

2. My slider has also stopped working. I see it work when I’m in the Theme Customization screen, but no where else. Everywhere else there’s a big blank spot with a loading icon spinning. I’ve turned it off, saved, refreshed; turned it back on, saved, refreshed, with nothing changing. I’ve deleted caches, tried Firefox and Chrome. I have WP 4.1.9 and Parabola 1.5.1. I have the slider set for custom slides which are images formatted the same size as the slider.

3. Yeap that’s it. After plugin installation, everything working like a charm for my Greek recipies website. Now i’m working to tweak it to be HTML5 valid.

6. Does anyone know how to change “Leave a Reply” to “Leave a Review”?? Thanks!!! I only use the WordPress backend, I don’t do anything with the HTML, so if that is how to change it, can you please be as specific as possible to assist me? THANKS!!!!!

   1. The Leave a reply string is part of WordPress translations so you could theoretically change it by creating a translation for your language.

7. I am using the Parabola theme to develop my website. I save as I go when selecting options from the Parabola Settings-not making any code changes. When I went to upload a new photo and save, I lost my text and color settings. I tired to add them back in but it is not allowing me to select colors or HTML color codes which used to coordinate with the color selected. I turned off an easy slider which might have impacted color, but the color setting still doesn’t work.

   Any thoughts or similar experiences?

   1. Sounds like you have a plugin that is interfering with the theme’s colour option fields. Try to cycle the plugins off to see which one is removing the hash sign (#) from the theme’s settings. Then restore all the # signs to the colour codes and your colours should return to normal.

8. I upgraded to Parabola 1.5.1 and neither my slider nor the hovers work. The sloder doesn’t even show at all, it is just a white box. I am going to have to go to an older verison I have backed up until there is a fix for this.

9. The slideshow on my presentation page stopped working after this update (it shows an eternal spinning wheel). Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks!!

   1. Hi! I had same problem. I changed 2nd slide to 3rd slide, 3rd slide to 4th slide. All works good after tgis change.

      1. Not getting the slideshow to work, either. I was using random posts and also tried posts from a specific category. Nada. Spinning wheel only. But otherwise, this is a great theme! Love the customization. Just sad the slideshow is broken. (To be fair, I do need to try turning off all my plugins in case one is the culprit….)

         1. I had the same problem, I’m no expert but I changed the links back from the “short links” to it’s original image links and it worked somehow.

10. Well done lads. I’m impressed…so impressed that I bought ya a few lattes…(better maybe a pint or two of Guinness) via paypal…since I can tell there’s been some major midnight coding sessions.
